TERM: 1 Lesson per week.
REGISTRATION FEE: Non refundable registration fee is due on the day of registering.
TUITIONS: Due before or on the first day of each month.

PAYMENT MUST BE COMPLETED BEFORE or ON the 1st of the month.
There will be $25 fee for late payments.
STUDENT ABSENCE: Since you are requesting teacher to be available every week for your lessons at requested day/time, do not miss your class. All school closures are published before signing this contract. By signing this contract you acknowledge that you are informed of all school closures and you will be available for classes. It is student’s responsibility to check for the dates, we will not send email reminders. You were informed about all non working days with this contract (see HOLIDAYS section below) before signing this contract so you can plan your entire year ahead. Having that in mind, there will be no refunds and no make up classes missed by student by any reason. Please be on time! If student starts class late, they will finish only remaining lesson time and will not go into the next student’s lesson time.
All lessons cancelled by Teacher will be rescheduled or refunded in full.
HOLIDAYS: There will be no classes on: Labor Day September, Truth and Reconciliation Day September, Thanksgiving Long Weekend (please note that Canadian and USA dates are different), Remembrance Day, Christmas Break, Family Day Long Weekend, Spring break, Easter, Victoria Day.
Please refer to “School Calendar” for exact closure dates.
HOLDING A SPACE: A $52.50 (GST included) fee per month will be charged for holding a space only. Does not apply for Summer Semester. One month written notice must be given with dates of planned absence. Student’s space, day and time will be held only for the dates provided.
REFUNDS: ONE MONTH WRITTEN NOTICE must be given to discontinue lessons, otherwise payment is forfeited.
EXAMS & COMPETITIONS (OPTIONAL): Students registered for an exam / competition will be required to take minimum of two extra lessons / piano rehearsals. It is the student’s responsibility to find accompanist and organize additional rehearsals. All students registered for RCM Exams are required to attend one month of Exam Preparation Lessons - preparation lessons are not included in the monthly tuition. Price and time TBA. Exams are paid to Royal Conservatory of Music, not to us.
SCHOOL PHOTOS: All photos taken during lessons or recitals are property and under copyrights of Mima and Cello Ltd. Only photos may be used for advertising, school promotion or school website without notice.
PRIVACY POLICY: No personal information from the Registration form will be released without your written or oral consent.
