Meet Ms. Mima
Ms. Mima is the founder and lead instructor of Mima and Cello Online Music School, bringing a high level of expertise, professionalism, and dedication to every lesson with some students proceeding to successfully performing in orchestras both locally and internationally while other students have pursued post-secondary studies in music.
Mima holds a Master's Degree in Music - Cello Performance from University of Calgary and a Certificate in Higher Education Teaching from Harvard University, combining advanced musical training with proven teaching methodologies.
Ms. Mima is recognized as a Specialized Advanced Teacher and Awarded Teachers Recognition Certificates by the Royal Conservatory of Music, and holds Advanced Specialist Designations in: Cello, Piano and Violin
Her teaching approach focuses on building strong technical foundations, musical expression, and confidence in each student. Whether working with beginners or advanced performers, Ms. Mima is committed to fostering a lifelong passion for music in a supportive and structured environment.
